| Rick Mae,
nick-named
"Deepest Hands in Town," has been in the practice of massage therapy
for
20 years. He has worked with athletes for 19 years. He continues to
take classes to further his knowledge and expertise in this field.
It
all started with in-house corporate massage in 1989 with such
corporations as Pizza Hut and their franchisees, Bank IV, and
Rent-A-Center.
Moving
on from there Rick worked with St. Joseph Sports medicine program with
the Wichita Wings. He also was a Team Therapist for Advantage Tennis
Team, HCA Athletics. Rick was also incorporated with St. Francis Hospital.
His
training for massage was originally taken in Topeka with Maggie Kelly
and he was associated with the International Myomassethics Federation,
Kansas Chapter, KATM. He is now certified by Associated Body Work and
Massage Professionals.
During
the last twenty years, Rick has had the privilege of working on
Mikhail Baryshnikov and other professional athletics and entertainers
who have come to town.
